Turn the web into your personal library

Capture insights directly on websites and PDFs. Add context with highlights and notes that stay anchored to the text. Your research autosaves and remains available whenever you return.

Get started in 5 seconds 🚀

Start annotating without creating an account. Highlights and notes are saved locally in your browser on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers. Export a copy if you need a backup.

Contextualize information ✏️

Go beyond simple highlighting. Attach notes and tags directly to specific text to capture your reasoning in the moment. This transforms static content into an active knowledge base.

Navigate with ease 📑

Access a consolidated view of all annotations in the side panel. Jump instantly to specific passages within the document, helping you review findings without losing your place.

Integrate with your workflow 📤

Move insights out of the browser. Export annotations to Markdown, HTML, or plain text for seamless transfer to Obsidian or Notion.

Got a question?

What does the extension do?
It turns passive reading into active research. You can highlight text on web pages and PDFs, add quick notes, and review everything in a clean side panel. Highlights stay right where you found them, so you keep context and build a personal knowledge base directly in your browser.
Is it free to use?
Yes. All core features—highlighting, notes, side panel, and exports—are free. Our goal is to make active reading simple and accessible, without paywalls or accounts. If we add optional advanced features later, the basics you rely on today will remain free.
Where is my data stored?
Highlights and notes are saved locally in your browser on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers. Export a copy if you need a backup. You can use your saved annotations without a connection on pages that are already loaded and remain open. The extension does not download websites for offline use.
How do I get started?
Select any text; a small icon appears—click to highlight. Click a highlight to add a note. Open the side panel to see all annotations on the page, jump between them, or edit. It takes seconds to learn and works with your existing reading flow.
Can I export or move my notes?
Yes. Export annotations from a page to Markdown (great for Obsidian/Notion), HTML (keeps structure for the web), or plain text (maximum compatibility). Exports make it easy to share, back up, or paste findings into reports, study notes, and writing drafts.
Will it work on every website?
The extension works on most websites with standard text. Complex web apps or unusual layouts can limit highlighting. If a page does not work well, please let us know.
